Q-CAT carbon performance catamaran

Want to play at Extreme 40 or 45 AC sailing but lack the necessary shore team and budget? Alex Simonis has designed the new Q-Cat to meet the demands of more ordinary mortals who nevertheless want to go further and (much) faster than their F-18 friends.

The Q-cat 9GT is built entirely from carbon fibre and weighs only 495 kg. This combined with a generous sailplan makes boatspeeds of more than 20 knots easily possible, even without a professionally skilled crew.
